SSH Art Gallery Holds Fundraiser Silent Art Auction

A fundraiser exhibit “Silent Art Auction” of mixed-media paintings, drawings, and ceramics from LBCC faculty and community members is on display through March 1 in the South Santiam Hall Gallery at Linn-Benton Community College, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.

The annual fundraiser supports the Art Galleries on the LBCC Albany campus, which exhibit diverse artwork and artists while giving art students an opportunity to showcase their talent.

Artwork up for auction was donated by Dori Litzer, Robin Evans, Anne Magratten, Sheryl Van Fleet, Debbie Vandersommen, Lynda Farmer, Ted Ernst, Matthew Williams, Renee McKitterick, Lewis Franklin and Cory Self.

The silent auction will be open for bids until 12:45 p.m. March 1. Auction sheets are provided at each item. You can bid as often as you like. Item goes to highest bidder. You do not need to be present to win.

A reception will be held Wednesday, March 1 from 12 to 1 p.m. in South Santiam Hall Gallery. Refreshments will be provided.

The reception is free and open to the public. LBCC art galleries are open to the public weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
