Art, Food Preservation & Computer Classes

Learn to paint using acrylics while enjoying the scenery and a glass of wine at Marks Ridge Winery in the popular LBCC Community Education class "Corks & Canvas,” taught by muralist Victoria Knight.

This one-evening class meets Friday, Oct. 23 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Cost is $39 and includes all supplies. Register by Oct. 19.

Knight will also teach a four-hour workshop "You Can Paint Acrylics” Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the LBCC Lebanon Center. Learn more in-depth design basics and take home a beautiful country landscape that you painted. Cost is $65 and includes all supplies. Register by Oct. 19.

Explore the basics of your personal computer in the beginning class “Personal Computer Essentials,” with hands-on, step-by-step instruction. This four-week class meets Thursdays from 1 to 2:50 p.m. starting Oct. 22 at the LBCC Lebanon Center.  Cost is $59.

Learn how to use a pressure canner to preserve meats, fish, game, soups and veggies in the class "Canning Meats, Fish, Game and Vegetables."  Class meets Thursday, Oct. 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sweet Home High School. Presented by LBCC Community Education and OSU Master Food Preservers. Cost is $29.  Register by Oct. 15.
