A safe driver refresher class for those 16 and older starts May 7 at Linn-Benton Community College. Course covers the new “Move Over Law,” which includes more than just emergency vehicles. Review recent changes in the law and learn skills and techniques to reduce crashes and collisions. Class meets Mondays from 6 to 7:20 p.m. for 3 weeks starting May 7, with a unique hands-on experience on Saturday May 19 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. which provides an opportunity to challenge yourself in distracted driving situations. A class to help you teach your teen to drive will be offered through LBCC Community Education in Albany, Corvallis and Lebanon starting April 19.   Teaching your teen to drive can be a tense and thrilling time. Help make it more enjoyable by adding some new information to what you already know about driving. Driver Permit Preparation classes are being offered through LBCC Community Education in Albany, Corvallis and Lebanon starting April 16. Designed for those having trouble passing the permit test or who need help studying. Course covers the Oregon Driver Manual and what you need to know to pass the Oregon Driver permit test. Staying Safe While Buying and Selling Online focuses on protecting your financial assets and avoiding scams while using your phone, tablet or other device online. Wreath Making class covers how to prepare wreath forms, tie bundles, make floral bows and more. This two-week class meets Tuesdays from 6 to 7:50 p.m. starting April 10 at the LBCC Lebanon Center. Cost is $49. Floral Swag class covers designing and assembling a classic holiday swag and a swag for interior decoration. Table Top Arrangements class covers how to create beautiful floral arrangements using different types of materials including flowers and greens.
