3rd Annual Albany Sings! Choir Concert
Come celebrate choral music in the Willamette Valley at the 3rd Annual Albany Sings! Concert on Thursday, May 26 at 7 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, 2817 Santiam Highway, Albany.
Approximately 300 singers from the Calapooia, Memorial, and North Albany Middle Schools, West and South Albany High Schools, and the Linn-Benton Community College choirs will perform a plethora of choral works sure to knock your socks off. After individual performances, the ensembles will combine to perform "Give Us Hope" by Jim Papoulis, Arranged by Francisco Nunez in a mass choir performance.
Performances will be conducted James Reddan, LBCC; John Kluttz, Calapooia Middle School; Julie Buchert, Memorial Middle School; LeAnn Wind, North Albany Middle School; Brett DeYoung, South Albany High School; and Cate Caffarella, West Albany High School.
This performance is free and open to the public, no tickets required. Come on out and celebrate music, singing, and the many award winning Albany choral programs and show your support for choral music education and the many students whose lives these programs impact.
This concert is made possible by a grant from the Linn-Cultural Coalition.
