Sweet Home Center Adobe Photoshop Elements Class

LBCC’s Sweet Home Center is offering a hands-on Photoshop Elements class for editing digital photographs.

Learn how to correct exposure, contrast and color problems. Also learn how to remove from and/or add to a photo; resize, print and save images; and prepare images for email and the Web. Discover how to organize and back-up all your treasured photos with confidence. Computer experience is recommended.

This five-week class will meet on Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 8:50 pm. beginning Jan. 4 at the LBCC Sweet Home Center, 1661 Long St. Cost for this class is $54. Photoshop Elements II class will be offered beginning Feb. 8.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. A variety of art classes, including a few new ones, are being offered through LBCC Community Education starting March 28. In the new class “Art & Etsy,” learn to polish your craft and sell your art. Bring your own product to polish up, or bring to life a new creation. Immerse yourself in product design and then create a catchy shop name and an inviting online presence. Learn a foreign language in classes offered through Community Education at Linn-Benton Community College starting April 4. Spanish for Seniors focuses on conversational Spanish with essential words, songs and phrases to help you get ready to travel more confidently in Spanish speaking countries. Learn past, present, and future verb tenses. Some previous Spanish experience recommended.
