40th Annual Children's Winter Festival Dec. 11
Celebrating 40 years, the annual LBCC Children’s Winter Festival will be held at Linn-Benton Community College on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 1 to 4 p.m. on the second floor of the Calapooia Center building, 6500 SW Pacific Blvd., Albany.
The festival is free to all Linn and Benton County children ages 12 and under. An optional donation of two cans of food will be accepted to benefit the Linn-Benton Lunch Box program.
There will be different ethnic rooms featuring crafts such as construction of Chinese masks, Kwanza bead necklaces, dreidel making, cookie decorating, pictures with Santa, balloon artists, a magician, a frame-making room where children can make their own picture frame, and a room for making their own gingerbread house. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
