LBCC Offers Hiring Right the First Time Workshop

The workshop “Hiring Right the First Time” will be offered through Business and Employer Services at Linn-Benton Community College on Thursday, Jan. 13, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the LBCC Albany Campus, Fireside Room, Calapooia Center room CC-211, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.

Learn how to select the best individual for your organization using a logical, easy-to-follow system. This workshop will take you through the process of planning and conducting effective interviews and how best to evaluate candidates.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. Learn a foreign language in classes offered through Community Education at Linn-Benton Community College starting April 4. Spanish for Seniors focuses on conversational Spanish with essential words, songs and phrases to help you get ready to travel more confidently in Spanish speaking countries. Learn past, present, and future verb tenses. Some previous Spanish experience recommended.
