Lebanon Center Dance Classes

The LBCC Lebanon Center has several opportunities for dance expression and exercise this winter term.

Learn the ancient and beautiful art of Belly Dance. This course covers basic moves in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The eight-week class meets on Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:20 p.m. beginning Jan. 6 at the Park Street Building in Lebanon. Cost for this class is $39.

Learn the basic of ballet in the class Beginning Ballet. This class is for the adult who has never taken ballet before or for those with some experience who want an entry-level review. This eight-week class meets on Tuesdays from 7:30 p.m. to 8:20 p.m. beginning Jan. 4 at the Cascade Center for Performing Arts in Lebanon. Cost for this class is $39.

Take the class Line Dancing and learn why it isn’t just country/western anymore. Learn to line dance to a variety of music including country/western, 50's music and Latin. No partner needed. This nine-week class meets on Tuesdays from 1:30 p.m. to 2:50 p.m. beginning Jan. 4 at the Lebanon Senior Center, or from 6 p.m. to 7:20 p.m. beginning Jan. 4 at the First Baptist church in Lebanon. Cost for this class is $48.

Learn to perform basic dance steps in the class Ballroom Dance. This beginning class covers variations of the Night Club Two Step, Waltz and West Coast Swing. This 10-week class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. beginning Jan. 4 at the Lebanon Senior Center. Cost for this class is $84.
