LBCC Lebanon & Sweet Home Centers: ABE/GED Basic Skills Class

Classes to help you earn your Adult Basic Education/General Education Diploma (GED) will be offered at Linn-Benton Community College Lebanon and Sweet Home Centers starting in January.

These classes can help you prepare to pass your GED test and help you to improve your skills in reading, writing or math. Improved skills will help you be ready to fill job requirements or help you prepare for college.

A free two-day orientation will be held at the LBCC Lebanon Center and the LBCC Sweet Home Center on Jan. 3 and Jan. 4. Choose to attend the morning session from 9 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. or the evening session from 6 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. at either location. Please attend the orientation that best meets your schedule for attending class. Additional orientations will be held Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.

The orientation is free. Cost to attend the GED class is $30. Scholarships are available.

The Lebanon Center is located at 44 Industrial Way in the same building as the Employment Division and DHS. The Sweet Home Center is located at 1661 Long Street, right next to the high school.
