A Pesticide Laws and Safety class in Spanish will be held through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College October 26 and 27.
Designed to prepare senior agriculture workers to take the State of Oregon Department of Agriculture pesticide applicator exam, classes provide in-depth training, including extra coaching in math and calibration skills. Course may be used for recertification credits.
Pesticide Laws and Safety in Spanish meets October 26 and 27 beginning at 8 a.m. both days, at LBCC’s Calapooia Center, room CC-203/205. Cost is $119.
LBCC offers ODA exams at an additional cost of $58 each. For test dates, see the METRO web site at http://oregon.metrosignup.com or call 1-877-533-2900. The ODA pesticide applicators exam is optional and should be arranged with Metro.
