Introduction to Chinese Tea Ceremony class Oct. 28

An introductory class on the ancient art of the Chinese tea ceremony will be held at LBCC’s Benton Center October 28.

Sometimes called "the artless art,” the ancient Chinese tea ceremony is a beautiful, calming practice designed to be shared with friends.

Learn how to prepare, appreciate and enjoy a variety of fine teas and take your first steps towards becoming a true tea connoisseur.

Class meets Saturday, Oct. 28 from 10 to 11:50 a.m. at the LBCC Benton Center, 757 NW Polk Ave, Corvallis. Cost is $79.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. LBCC Holds Annual Career Fair

A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications. A variety of art classes, including a few new ones, are being offered through LBCC Community Education starting March 28. In the new class “Art & Etsy,” learn to polish your craft and sell your art. Bring your own product to polish up, or bring to life a new creation. Immerse yourself in product design and then create a catchy shop name and an inviting online presence.
