Free Veterinary Assistant Information Sessions
Free information sessions will be held in September and October on the Veterinary Assistant Program at Linn-Benton Community College for those interested in training to become a Veterinary Assistant.
Information sessions will be held Monday, September 14 at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 6 at 2 p.m., and Thursday, October 15 at 11 a.m. at the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center, room CC-212. No preregistration needed to attend.
The 17-week LBCC Veterinary Assistant Program starts Jan. 4 and runs through April 29, 2016. Skill areas covered include basic education and experience in common disease states, commonly used medical and surgical techniques, and an introduction to hospital management, business procedures and radiation safety.
