LBCC Class Explores 2014 Shakespeare Festival

The class “In Depth View: Shakespeare Festival 2014” will be held at Linn-Benton Community College’s Benton Center starting April 2.  

Learn how to make the most of your festival going experience in this five-week class covering the 2014 Oregon Shakespeare Festival season.  Class will cover Shakespeare play history, past OSF productions, and the challenge of producing 300-year-old plays for a contemporary audience.

Instructor Robert Leff, long time festival attendee and American theatre historian, provides play backgrounds and discussions with a historical and performance point of view.

Class will meet Wednesdays from 10 to 11:50 a.m. starting April 2 at the LBCC Benton Center, 757 NW Polk Ave., Corvallis. Cost is $39.
