LBCC “Chance Dance” Performance Benefits Art on Campus
The benefit dance performance “Chance Dance” will be held at Linn-Benton Community College Friday, March 14 at 7 p.m. in the LBCC Russell Tripp Performance Center, Takena Hall, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.
“Chance Dance” is a collaborative performance bringing together a community of artists, with proceeds benefiting the LBCC Art and Aesthetics Resource Team to bring art to the LBCC campus.
Area choreographers will use expressive movement, poetry and music to design 10 dances based on numbers and chance as expressed through the styles of African, ballet, ballroom and contemporary dance.
Participants include the Rainbow Dance Theatre and other area performers.
Tickets are $10 advance general admission, $8 for students, and $10 at the door. Purchase by contacting M’Liss Runyon at 541-917-4415, or at Rice’s Pharmacy, Grass Roots Bookstore and the Clothes Tree in Corvallis.
