Lebanon and Sweet Home Centers Offer Business Tech Classes

Upgrade your office skills or learn new ones in computer and business classes offered through the LBCC Business Technology Labs in the Lebanon and Sweet Home Centers.

These five-week, one-credit classes allow you to progress at your own pace and include Windows & Computer Fundamentals, PowerPoint Fundamentals, Excel Fundamentals, and Filing. Classes begin February 13.

Lebanon Center classes will be held on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9 to 11:50 a.m. or on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 8:20 p.m. Sweet Home Center classes will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 8:20 p.m.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. LBCC Holds Annual Career Fair

A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications. Community Art classes in Albany, Corvallis, and Lebanon

A variety of art classes, including a few new ones, are being offered through LBCC Community Education starting March 28. In the new class “Art & Etsy,” learn to polish your craft and sell your art. Bring your own product to polish up, or bring to life a new creation. Immerse yourself in product design and then create a catchy shop name and an inviting online presence.
