LBCC Offers Baking Basics Class

Learn how to be a better baker in the class Baking Basics offered through LBCC Albany Community Education.

People say that cooking is an art, but baking is a science. Local chef Adrienne Ewanchyna will teach you the many different baking techniques from cookies to breads in this class designed for beginning to intermediate bakers.

This class will meet on two Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. beginning Oct. 8 in the LBCC Calapooia Center, room CC-219. Cost for this non-credit class is $39 with a $27 lab fee.

Bring your own product to polish up, or bring to life a new creation. Immerse yourself in product design and then create a catchy shop name and an inviting online presence. Learn a foreign language in classes offered through Community Education at Linn-Benton Community College starting April 4. Spanish for Seniors focuses on conversational Spanish with essential words, songs and phrases to help you get ready to travel more confidently in Spanish speaking countries. Learn past, present, and future verb tenses. Some previous Spanish experience recommended.
