International Ballroom Dance for beginners starts Jan. 11

International Ballroom Dance class for beginners will be held through Linn-Benton Community College Community Education starting January 11.

Learn basic techniques, steps and several figures in four ballroom dances including cha-cha, rumba, jive and waltz. Dance partner required.

This eight-week class meets Thursdays from 7:30 to 8:50 p.m. starting January 11 at the LBCC Activities Center, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany. Cost is $65.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. Spanish for Seniors focuses on conversational Spanish with essential words, songs and phrases to help you get ready to travel more confidently in Spanish speaking countries. Learn past, present, and future verb tenses. Some previous Spanish experience recommended.
