Cooking classes in Albany start Jan. 18
Learn to cook soups, stews and all things chocolate in cooking classes offered through LBCC Community Education this winter.
Classic Soups and Stews covers classic soups such as chicken noodle, tomato, clam chowder and beef, pork, hominy and butternut stews.
This two-week class meets Thursdays from 6 to 8:50 p.m. starting January 18 at the LBCC Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW. Cost is $69.
In the class All Things Chocolate, learn to cut, melt and temper chocolate to make Ganache, truffles and a variety of chocolate desserts, garnishes and confections.
Class meets Saturday, February 10 from 12 to 4:50 p.m. at LBCC Albany campus. Cost is $69.
