LBCC English Faculty Present “Spring Light”

“Spring’s Light,” a reading and fundraiser benefiting the LBCC English Endowment Fund, will be held Friday, May 8 at 7 p.m., at the LBCC Benton Center, 757 NW Polk Street, Corvallis. 

Enjoy readings by LBCC’s English department faculty and students. A no‑host bar of wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks will be available. Suggested donation is $10, $5 for students.

Proceeds support visiting writers and student awards, including the LBCC Student Achievement Award. For more information, contact Karelia Stetz-Waters 541-917-4556.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. Learn a foreign language in classes offered through Community Education at Linn-Benton Community College starting April 4. Spanish for Seniors focuses on conversational Spanish with essential words, songs and phrases to help you get ready to travel more confidently in Spanish speaking countries. Learn past, present, and future verb tenses. Some previous Spanish experience recommended.
