Equine Skills Class Offers Training
Linn-Benton Community College will offer a nine-week adult Equine Skills class beginning Wednesday, April 8.
Under the guidance of an instructor, Equine Skills helps horse owners, individuals with their own horse and equipment, to develop a training program to teach a horse advanced maneuvers to prepare for amateur and professional events.
Basic principles of behavior modification and horse psychology will be offered to help you evaluate the individual horse and build a suitable training program. Must bring own horse and tack.
Class will meet on Wednesdays from 7 to 9:50 p.m. starting April 8 at the Linn County Fairgrounds, 3700 Knox Butte, Albany. Cost is $179 and includes instruction and Fairground rental fee.
