LBCC Foreign Language for Travelers Classes

Prepare for your summer travels with Linn-Benton Community College foreign language classes designed to teach language skills for use in tourist and travel situations.

Italian for Travelers I is a basic introductory Italian language course. This five-week class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 7:50 p.m. beginning June 24 in room NSH-106 on the Albany campus. Cost is $75.

Italian for Travelers II goes more in-depth into the Italian language, touching on cultural norms and taboos especially useful for tourists. This five-week class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 7:50 p.m. beginning July 29. Cost is $75.

Spanish for Travelers covers practical and useful Spanish language basics for travel situations, such as greetings, getting around town, exchanging money, dealing with safety issues, and relevant cultural information to the traveler. This four-week class meets Mondays from 2 to 3:50 p.m. beginning June 23 at the Albany Public Library. Cost is $39.
