Are you a novice computer user who would like to learn basic computer skills? LBCC Lebanon and Sweet Home Centers are offering two beginning computer classes this winter term.
"Computers-First Step" is a perfect class for those who have never touched a computer before and want hands-on, step-by-step instruction. The class is designed to go at an easy pace and includes identifying and using the various parts of the computer, how to use the mouse and keyboard and introduces Windows 7 and a brief introduction to email and Internet.
This four-week, non-credit class will be offered at the Lebanon Center beginning Wednesday, Jan. 11 from 6 to 8:50 p.m., and at the Sweet Home Center beginning Thursday, Jan. 19 from 6 to 8:50 p.m. Cost for the class is $45 plus a $3 lab fee. No prior computer experience is required.
The class "Computers-Second Step" will build on the skills learned in the first step class including additional features of Windows 7, the Internet and email. Learn how to copy information between programs, organize files, create folders and learn some easy computer maintenance tips.

Must have taken "Computers-First Step" or have equivalent computer experience.
Seniors age 62 and above are eligible for a 25 percent reduction in tuition. Reduction does not apply to materials or lab fees.
