Lebanon and Sweet Home Center Arts and Crafts Classes

Learn how to knit, crochet or make quilts in one of several craft classes held at the LBCC Lebanon and Sweet Home Centers.

In the 10-week "Knitting/Crocheting Workshop" students learn knitting and crocheting techniques such as knitted lace, fair-isle ski sweater, Intarsia and fisherman sweater with cables and textures. Designed for beginning and accomplished knitters and crocheters.

This class will meet on Tuesdays from 9 to 10:50 a.m. beginning April 3. Cost for this non-credit class is $69 plus a $3 lab fee.

An eight-week "Quilters' Workshop" will be offered through the LBCC Sweet Home Center, 1661 Long St. Students will work on a patterned quilt that uses easy piecing methods.

Class will meet on Mondays from 7 to 8:50 p.m. beginning April 12. Cost for this class is $57 plus a $2 lab fee.

Seniors age 62 and above are eligible for a 25 percent reduction in tuition. Reduction does not apply to materials or lab fees. Open Registration begins March 19.
