Benton Center Writers Workshop "Fooling Around With Words"

Sharpen your writing skills with some of the region's leading published writers in the workshop Fooling Around With Words held at LBCC’s Benton Center on Saturday, April 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Everyone from published authors to enthusiastic emerging writers will enjoy this workshop featuring sessions in poetry, fiction, professional development and alternative media. Scheduled presenters include Paulann Petersen, Connie Eggers, Rebecca Olson, Margaret Anderson, Chris Riseley, Rob Priewe, Tim Haag, Larina Warnock, and C. Lill Ahrens.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. Learn a foreign language in classes offered through Community Education at Linn-Benton Community College starting April 4. Spanish for Seniors focuses on conversational Spanish with essential words, songs and phrases to help you get ready to travel more confidently in Spanish speaking countries. Learn past, present, and future verb tenses. Some previous Spanish experience recommended.
