LBCC Re-Choired Element Semi-finalist for American Prize

The Linn-Benton Community College Re-Choired Element Chamber Choir has been chosen as a semi-finalist in choral performance for The American Prize, a series of national competitions providing cash awards, professional adjudication and regional, national and international recognition.
American Prize awards are given to the best recorded performances of music by individuals and ensembles in the United States at the professional, community/amateur, college/university, church and school levels.
LBCC’s Re-Choired Element is one of three college-level choruses chosen from throughout the nation, and the only community college chorus. James Reddan, LBCC choral conductor and music faculty, also was chosen as a semi-finalist for the American Prize in choral conducting. Winners will be announced June.
