Self-defense class at Benton Center

A self-defense class will be offered through the LBCC Benton Center starting September 26.

Develop situational awareness and confidence while learning basic self-defense skills, including how to avoid attacks and to determine if a situation will pose a threat. No previous experience necessary.

This 11-week class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 to 2:50 p.m. starting Sept. 26 at the LBCC Benton Center, 757 NW Polk Ave., Corvallis. Cost is $89.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. Learn a foreign language in classes offered through Community Education at Linn-Benton Community College starting April 4. Spanish for Seniors focuses on conversational Spanish with essential words, songs and phrases to help you get ready to travel more confidently in Spanish speaking countries. Learn past, present, and future verb tenses. Some previous Spanish experience recommended.
