LBCC South Santiam Hall Gallery Features Pablo Solares
Retratos features eleven vibrant oil paintings exploring the concept of portraiture. Solares moves beyond the standard definition of a portrait, using landscape as a broad portrayal of identity in addition to traditional portraiture.
Solares, a visual artist and professional runner, has been in numerous exhibitions and recently completed two murals for the Cesar Chavez Cultural Center at Oregon State University.
A closing reception will be held in the South Santiam Hall Gallery Tuesday, October 25 from 12 to 1 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
You can view Solares’s work in LBCC SSH Gallery and on his website, pablosolares.com. LBCC galleries are free and open to the public weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
