Home Beer Brewing Classes Start Oct. 29

Beer brewing classes taught by Corvallis Brewing Supply owner Joel Rea will be held through Linn-Benton Community College starting Saturday, October 29.

A three-day “Beginning Homebrewing” class explores beer styles and brewing history along with the tools and techniques used in home fermentation, from boiling the kettle to filling the bottle.  Class meets three Saturdays from 2:30 to 4:50 p.m. starting October 29 at First Alternative Co-Op, 1007 SE Third St., Corvallis. Cost is $99.
  
A one-day workshop “Advanced Homebrewing” provides a greater appreciation for the craft of brewing while you brew a batch of beer in an “all-grain” process. Take beginning class or get instructor approval. Workshop meets Saturday, November 19 from 11 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. at First Alternative Co-Op, 1007 SE Third St., Corvallis. Cost is $99.
