LBCC Foundation Names New Development Officer

Andrew Wynings
Andrew Wynings has joined the Linn-Benton Community College Foundation office as development officer.

Wynings, of Independence, has 15 years of professional development and fundraising experience with Western Oregon University, Family Building Blocks in Salem, and the Willamette Cancer Foundation in McMinnville.

In his new position, Wynings will be responsible for expanding relationships with existing donors and establishing new relationships with alumni and friends for the college Foundation.

Established in 1972, the LBCC Foundation serves as a conduit to the college for giving to programs, student scholarships, and special projects. The Foundation has invested undesignated funds for equipment to the Advanced Transportation Technology Center, supported student educational experiences and scholarships, provided high tech resources for students, and most recently was the major contributor to the political action committee supporting the LBCC Bond.
