LBCC Theater Production of “Macbeth – Movement Into Darkness”


Tickets are on sale for Linn-Benton Community College’s production of “Macbeth – Movement Into Darkness” at LBCC’s Russell Tripp Performance Center, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.

Directed by LBCC theater instructor Dan Stone, this physical theater adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic play tells the tragic story of murder, betrayal and witchcraft entirely through the use of music and movement, with no dialog.

Performances are Nov. 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee Saturday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and active military, and $5 for children under 18.  Advanced ticket purchase recommended. Seating in limited.

Tickets can purchased online for no fee at linnbenton.edu/russelltripptheater, at the Russell Tripp Performance Center box office beginning Oct. 28, and at the door one hour prior to performance. Box Office hours are Monday-Friday, 1-4 p.m.
