LBCC is offering two free Pharmacy Technician Program pre-application information sessions for those interested in training to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
The sessions will be held Monday, Oct. 28, from 9 to 11 a.m.; and Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the LBCC Lebanon Center, 44 Industrial Way.
No need to pre-register to attend the session. Attendance at the session is mandatory in order to take the program.
The 18-week Pharmacy Technician Program starts Feb. 3 and runs through June 6, 2014. Skill areas covered include customer service, pharmacy math, pharmacy laws and rules, pharmaceutical vocabulary, prescriptions, billing, insurance, industry software, pharmacology and on-the-job training.
