LBCC Volleyball Players Sign Letters of Intent

Linn-Benton Community College will send three of its volleyball players to the next level of play this fall after the players signed letters of intent Monday.

Whitney Hightower, elementary education major and 2011 Santiam Christian High School graduate, will play libero for Minot State University.

Miah Boeder, elementary education major and 2011 West Albany graduate, will play opposite for Corban University.

Biology major Lindsay Verboort, 2011 South Salem High graduate, will be a setter for Southern Oregon University.

Four additional players have been accepted to attend Oregon State University: Teague Teece, agriculture sciences major; Emma Richards, animal sciences, pre veterinary major; Katie Swayne, interior design major; and Kayla Swayze, graphic design major.
