Free Medicare parts A, B, C & D Class

A free class covering the basics of Medicare parts A, B, C & D will be held by Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance (SHIBA) Thursday May 16 from 10 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. at the LBCC Sweet Home Center, 1661 Long St.

This class is designed for anyone who will be eligible for Medicare within a few months or is new to Medicare, or for current beneficiaries who would like a better understanding of their Medicare benefits and options. Spouses or caregivers are welcome to attend.

Reservations are required by calling 541-812-0849. Class is taught by a Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance volunteer. Sponsored by Linn-Benton RSVP.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. Learn a foreign language in classes offered through Community Education at Linn-Benton Community College starting April 4. Spanish for Seniors focuses on conversational Spanish with essential words, songs and phrases to help you get ready to travel more confidently in Spanish speaking countries. Learn past, present, and future verb tenses. Some previous Spanish experience recommended.
