LBCC Offers Free Tutor Training Workshop
Learn how to become a volunteer tutor for adults to improve their reading, writing, or English language skills through the Linn-Benton Community College Literacy Tutor Program.
A free tutor training workshop will be held at LBCC Friday, April 12 at 1 p.m. in the Luckiamute Center building, room 116, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.
LBCC tutors assist students that may be enrolled in the GED program, English for Speakers of Other Languages classes, or that come from local communities but are not otherwise enrolled at the college. Tutors may work in Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon or Sweet Home.
