LBCC LMT Workshop

The workshop “Hand, Wrist and Elbow” for Licensed Massage Therapists will be held Saturday, June 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Linn-Benton Community College’s Business and Employer Services.

Learn to identify and address specific issues such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow and hyper-mobility issues. Includes hands-on, integrated understanding of how myofascial restrictions affect the functional mechanics of the hand, wrist and elbow.


The workshop will be held in LBCC’s North Santiam Hall, room NSH-106, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW., Albany. Cost for this one-day workshop is $125.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. Foreign Language classes in Albany start April 4

Learn a foreign language in classes offered through Community Education at Linn-Benton Community College starting April 4. Spanish for Seniors focuses on conversational Spanish with essential words, songs and phrases to help you get ready to travel more confidently in Spanish speaking countries. Learn past, present, and future verb tenses. Some previous Spanish experience recommended. This eight-week class meets Tuesdays from 2:30 to 3:50 p.m. starting April 4 at the Albany Senior Center, 44 Water Ave. Cost is $65. American Sign Language I provides basic sign language skills and information on deaf culture.
