Dr. Robert Harrison offers guided tour to Florence, Italy

Robert Harrison, social science instructor at Linn-Benton Community College, will give a two-week guided tour of Florence, Italy June 21 to July 6, 2018.

Open to LBCC students and interested community members, the tour will explore Florence, Rome, Naples and more.

An informational meeting will be held Tuesday, Nov. 21, Noon to 1 p.m. in the LBCC Library, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.

Total estimated cost including round-trip airfare, lodging and meals is $2,820 per person. A non-refundable sign-up fee of $200 will be due by December 31.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. LBCC Holds Annual Career Fair

A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications. A variety of art classes, including a few new ones, are being offered through LBCC Community Education starting March 28. In the new class “Art & Etsy,” learn to polish your craft and sell your art.
