President For A Day Contest

Vice President Bruce Clemetsen and the college are inviting an LBCC student to become College President for a day! Swap places with President Greg Hamann; he will attend your classes while you run the college! Applications Due by Friday, December 10.

To apply, submit the following:
  • A copy of your detailed Winter Term 2011 course schedule
  • Your name, telephone numbers and e-mail address
  • A 100-word or less essay that responds to this question: “What would you do for the college in one day if you were LBCC President?”
Turn documents, stapled together, to the “President For A Day” drop box in the Student Life & Leadership office on the first floor of the Student Union by 5 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2010.

You must be available on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 to swap places with the LBCC President. You will also be asked to attend an LBCC Board of Education meeting that evening and to submit a brief written report on what you accomplished and learned.
