Tractor Safety Training Prepares Teens for Farm Jobs

Tractor Safety training will be held at Linn-Benton Community College’s Albany campus beginning March 23.

This three-day training prepares teen’s ages 14 to 18 for job opportunities on local farms in the coming months. The course emphasizes safety and was developed in accordance with federal regulations. Students and parents must sign a Liability Waiver/Indemnification form within 24 hours of registration.

Class will meet Monday thru Wednesday, March 23-25, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. on the LBCC Albany campus, Forum building room F-113, 6500 SW Pacific Blvd.

Cost for this non-credit class is $96.50, which includes materials. Preregistration is required. Register early as class fills quickly. Students must be at least 14 years of age to register.
