A variety of foreign language classes will be offered to members of the community through Linn-Benton Community College Benton Center Community Education starting January 5.  Learning new languages can be helpful when traveling, communicating with foreign guests or even to enhance memory retention. Courses include: Mandarin Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish and Sign Language. All courses are offered in a variety of levels and include a focus on conversation. Classes include Altered Books & Art Journaling, Expressive Watermedia, Colored Pencil Studio Workshop, Realistic Drawing, Beginning Drawing, Beginning Painting, Exploring Art Styles, Figure Drawing and Painting, Oil Painting Made Easy, Clay Exploration, Adaptive Handbuilding, and Techniques for Handbuilding Success.
