LBCC Professional Development Workshops
Business and Employer Services at Linn Benton Community College is offering the following January workshops as part of their series “Developing World Class Employees” from 8 a.m. to noon at Linn-Benton Community College, Calapooia Center, room CC-211, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.
Leadership 101 will be held Thursday, Jan. 17. Learn effective ways of leading whether you are in charge or not, including ways to establish a vision from which you act, ways to communicate leadership to others and impact change within your organization.
Conducting Performance Appraisals will be held Tuesday, Jan. 22. This workshop takes a strategic look at linking the performance appraisal to organizational performance including pros and cons of various performance appraisal designs, individual and team performances, development opportunities, coaching, counseling and corrective action.
