LBCC Lebanon and Sweet Home Centers: Beginning Computer Classes

LBCC is offering a beginning computer classes at its Lebanon Center and Sweet Home Centers beginning January 9.

Learn the basics in the class Computers-1st Step, held at the Lebanon Center on Wednesdays from 6 to 8:50 p.m. starting Jan. 9, and at the Sweet Home Center on Thursdays from 6 to 8:50 p.m. starting Jan. 17. Cost for this four-week class is $45 plus a $3 fee.

If you already know the basics, but need a bit more instruction, Computers-2nd Step will be held at the Lebanon Center on Wednesdays from 6 to 8:50 p.m. starting Feb. 6, and at the Sweet Home Center on Thursdays from 6 to 8:50 p.m. starting Feb. 14. Cost for this four-week class is $45 plus a $3 fee.

Seniors age 62 and above are eligible for a 25 percent reduction in tuition.  Reduction does not apply to fees.

Bring your own product to polish up, or bring to life a new creation. Immerse yourself in product design and then create a catchy shop name and an inviting online presence. Learn a foreign language in classes offered through Community Education at Linn-Benton Community College starting April 4. Spanish for Seniors focuses on conversational Spanish with essential words, songs and phrases to help you get ready to travel more confidently in Spanish speaking countries. Learn past, present, and future verb tenses. Some previous Spanish experience recommended.
